​Within this parish are two Catholic primary schools - St Mary's Primary School Laidley​ and ​​Our Lady of Good Counsel School Gatton. ​

Sophia College is proud to be a member of Franciscan Schools Australia​. The purpose of Franciscan Schools Australia is:

• to assist in the sharing of resources, both human and material, in order to enrich Franciscan Spirituality within the schools.
